Our Mission: End domestic violence through protection and empowerment
In 2024, the RA Parliament approved a WSC proposed legislation to amend the Domestic Violence and Criminal Law, in order to offer better victim protection of and accountability of the perpetrator.

Volunteering:
Are you passionate about women’s rights and combating domestic violence in Armenia?
If so, there are many ways that you can help. We have various tasks that volunteers can perform, such as research, PR work, and other administrative duties. Volunteers must be a current college student or a college graduate. We also work closely with Birthright Armenia, where you can submit your application and request to volunteer at the Women’s Support Center.
If you are interested in volunteering, please submit your CV to maro@womensupportcenter.org
Fundraising Events

The Shelter relies largely on individual contributions and grassroots fundraising, as international organizations generally do not provide grants for direct service work. We welcome support from those willing to host house parties, church events, or community gatherings to help raise funds for the Women’s Support Center. Our director, Maro Matosian, is available to give visual presentations at these events to help share our mission.
Contributions can also be made in honor of a special occasion โ such as birthdays, baptisms, anniversaries, or instead of flowers.
